On Thursday 3 March, from 4-5pm, InvestMyCommunity will be hosting the free online webinar, ‘Why we are the Right Fundraising Platform for Community Organisations, exploring why and how InvestMyCommunity is dedicated to community organisations and the benefits, features, tools, and services we offer.

 St Nectarios Orthodox Church raised over £50,000 in 12 months 

Using InvestMyCommunity’s platform, the church’s main fundraising page has enabled a congregation that is rapidly abandoning cash to safely and securely make one-off donations or set up a regular gift. Since launch, many members of their community have also set up In Memoriam pages to invite donations to the church in memory of a loved one, and create fundraising pages to invite guests to make donations instead of gifts for events. 

 

Lakefield School achieved over eight times their original fundraising target 

Lakefield School PTA utilised our leader board feature to introduce some friendly competition for the children as they raised money for their cause. Their campaign was so successful they accomplished over eight times their original fundraising goal, and almost achieved their annual fundraising target in just a couple of weeks. 

 

Boosting charity donations with innovation 

The fundraising team behind the project to renovate historical Harvington Hall in Warwickshire agreed to trial a donation card from InvestMyCommunity. They initially placed 250 cards in their foyer and invited visitors to take them. By scanning the QR code with their smart phones at their own convenience, visitors could make donations safely and securely – and still add Gift Aid at the click of a button. 

This proved so successful that within a couple of weeks, the team had ordered 500 more cards.
